Project- & Interim Management

Project outcomes are not a question of faith, but the power of the factual

Since thousands of years projects are executed. However, the age of project management only began one hundred years ago with the invention of the Gantt chart. Since, for over thirty years, a few methods have been added and consolidated in well-known standards (e.g. GPM, PMBoK, PRINCE or ISO 21500:2012) and are managed with software tools. At the same time the project phases have aligned (e.g. ISO21500):

  • Initiating
  • Planning
  • Implementing
  • Controlling
  • Closing.

Despite these structures, projects fail or miss their targets. The high costs of the project and the follow-up costs, when a project does not achieve its goals, require active support of the project managers and the project organization through PM training, coaching and PMO support.
